Taiwan lies on the western edge of the Pacific "rim of fire," and continuous tectonic movements have created majestic peaks, rolling hills and plains, basins, coastlines, and other natural wonders. Taiwan's tropical, sub-tropical, and temperate climates provide clear differentiation between the different seasons. There are about 18,400 species of wildlife on the island, with more than 20% being to rare or endangered species. Among these are the land-locked salmon, Taiwan mountain goat, Formosan rock monkey, Formosan black bear, blue magpie, Mikado pheasant, Xueshan grass lizard, and many more.

Taiwan is also known for its towering mountains, and is reputable as a "Mountainous Island". The island is spotted with numerous mountains over 3,000 meters. Besides mountains, beautiful coastal scenes are also part of Taiwan's great natural asset. Starting from the northern tip of the island is the North Coast & Guanyin Mountain (Guanyinshan) National Scenic Area and Northeast and Yilan Coast National Scenic Area that features various sorts of coastal geography. Traveling all the way down from here, one will first arrive at the scenic East Coast National Scenic Area and East Rift Valley National Scenic Area, and then the Dapeng Bay National Scenic Area blessed with sunshine and tropical touch. Alongside the mountainous areas is the Maolin National Scenic Area, where a lot of indigenous people live and place one can check out the world of butterfly, Rukai stone-made houses and Natural scenes in Taiwan.

Located in the southeast of Taiwan, Orchid Island and Green Island offer the enjoyment of nature environment, such as whale spotting and scuba diving. Matzu (Matsu) National Scenic Area comprises four townships on five islands. Most of the tourist sites are located in Nangan. Beigan has its stone houses and fish noodles. Juguang has its fishing port, as well as a lighthouse designated as a Class 2 historic site. In Dongyin one will find fantastic rock formations and the Dongyin branch of the Matzu (Matsu) Distillery.

Taiwan now has 8 National Parks - Yanming Mountain (Yangmingshan) National Park in Taipei suburban, which is famous for its volcanic landscape; the Xueba (Shei-Pa) National Park, a crossing Hsinchu & Miaoli counties and famous for special fish species- Formosan Oncorhynchus Masou; locating in Hualien county adjacent to Liwu creek;, Taroko National Park is known for its lofty canyon landscape; a crossing many counties in central Taiwan, Yu Mountain (Yushan) National Park is famous for its bright sunshine; locating in south tip, Kending (Kenting) National Park gives you a total touch of Southeast Asia; Kinmen National Park which is known for legacies from the war decades ago; The Dongsha Atoll Marine National Park was established in January 2007 at the north tip of the South China Sea, marking the southern portal to the Taiwan Strait. The atoll has a unique white sand landscape formed of coral and shell. Finally, both culture and natural attractions await your discovery at Taijiang National Park.

Day 02 Sun Moon Lake - Fo Guang Shan Buddhish Monastery- Kaohsiung  (B)
After breakfast at hotel, drive to Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Monastery, the most famous Buddhist sacred place of southern Taiwan. During the walking tour around the monastery you can communicate with some of the monks and nuns. You may also taste the local Buddhist vegetarian lunch. Afternoon transfer to Kaohsiung, the second largest city of Taiwan. Tour visit the Former British Consulate, Love River and Lio Ho Night Market. Overnight at Grand Hi-Lai Hotel (5-star) or similar
Day 03 Kaohsiung - Kenting - Taitung (B)
Morning transfer to Kenting National Park, located at Taiwan’s southern tip and the 37 miles of coral-rimmed shoreline along three sides of the park provide its main attractions. Tour visit the Oluanpi light house, Maopitou coastal scenic area and Kenting forest recreation area. Afternoon transfer to Taitung via Southern Link Highway. Day 04 Taitung - Hualien (B)
After breakfast transfer to the East Coast National Scenic Area, known as "Taiwan's last unspoiled land", stretches 170 kilometers down the east coast of the island. Weathering, erosion, and accumulation have produced a wide range of landforms here. Our tour will stop at Siaoyeliou, Sansientai, Stone Steps, Caves of the Eight Immortals. Late afternoon, we will proceed to Hualien. Overnight at Silks Place Taroko (5-star) or similar
Day 05 Hualien - Taroko Gorge - Taipei (B)
After breakfast, take day tour to the Taroko National Park. Taroko Gorge is an exceptionally beautiful, narrow raving created by the Liwu river which has cut deep into the mountains of solid marble. A road carved into sheer walls of rock rewinding its way past forested peaks and cliffs towering thousands of feet above it, while hundreds of feet below a river roars past gigantic marble boulders. Tour will visit the Eternal Spring Shrine, Swallow Grotto, Tunnel of Nine Turns, Marble Bridge, Tienshiang and marble factory. Later afternon, transfer back to Taipei via the Su-Hwa Highway and Hsuei-Shan Long Tunnel (12.9 Kms). Arrive Taipei around 7 PM.
