Mt. Huangshan (Yellow Mountain)
Of all the notable mountains in China, Yellow Mountain (Mt. Huangshan), in the south of Anhui province, is probably the most famous. Originally known as Mt. Yishan it was renamed Mt. Huangshan in 747 AD in recognition of the legendary Huang Di, who was the reputed ancestor of the Chinese people and who made magic pills for immortality here.
Tunxi Ancient Street
Tunxi Ancient Street has a history dates back to the Song Dynasty (960-1279). The street is paved with maroon flagstones with a total length of 1,273 meters. Shops standing on both sides feature the local Anhui style of stone base, brick construction and tile roof. Once a professor from America was amazed by the street and he said he had found an Oriental Ancient Rome. Nowadays the street is also used as a natural studio for films and TV series.
Xidi and Hongcun Ancient Villages
Xidi and Hongcun Ancient Villages were listed as World Heritage Sites by UNESCO in 2000. These two villages are the most representative local-style residences in southern Anhui Province.

| Day 01 Arrive in Huangshan city. Guide meet and transfer to hotel for check in upon arrival. Rest day free. |
| Day 02 (B, L) After breakfast, transfer to Huangshan Mountain (about 1 hour). Upon arrival, take the cable car to the top of the mountain and tour the Beginning-to-believe Peak and the Brush Pen Peak. After lunch, visit Xihai Grand Canyon and enjoy the sunset glow at the Cloud-dispelling Pavilion in the evening. Stay overnight at the summit. |
| Day 03 (B, L) Get up early in the morning to catch the magnificent sunrise. After breakfast, visit the Bright Summit, the second highest on the mountain and see Flying-over Rock. Take a cable car down to the mountain and transfer to Yi County and visit the Hongcun Village, which is an ancient village with over 800 years of history. It is listed as an UNESCO site and where the famous Oscar-award film Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon was filmed. Transfer back to the downtown of Huangshan City and explore the Ancient Street. Transfer to airport/train station and depart for your next destination. |
